Product Icon Definitions

Each product has a series of icons with different functions. These appear to the left of the product information and pricing blocks on the quote screen.

• Display in compact mode
• Hide item in quote
• Move item to another position
• Delete this item from quote

Display in compact mode

Intended to help you conserve screen real estate – this is also a great tool to help you identify if the quote process for a particular product is completed

When activated the calculation fields are hidden whilst the product pricing and description are shown.

Hide item in quote

This icon appears in multiple positions on the quote screen.

1:
Main Product Block – Sometimes particular products are not yet ready to be sent to your client ~ but the client is pressing you for information.

This allows you to send quotes to your clients that only contain products that have been completed – without actually removing incomplete products from your workings.

2:
Price Set – for when you want to initially send clients an ideas sheet. This function then makes it easy to populate the quote with pricing on items the client expresses interest in by switching off the hide function.

3:
Individual Costing Lines – Useful to see how “removing ” a line item affects the final pricing – or – when creating revisions.

Move item to another position

This icon only appears when you have multiple items in your quote and allows you adjust the order in which products appear on your quote.

Delete this item from quote

Also appears multiple times on the quote screen.

1:
Next to the product info block – Removes the entire product from the original quote or a revision.

2:
Next to the pricing block – Removes price sets (eg – decoration types) from within a specific product quote.
