Freight Cards

Freight Cards are created after you add a tracking number. These contain an overview of the shipment information and provide editing functionality.

Quicklook links
Any underlined text in BE is a hyperlink that will open a Quicklook of more information. The Freight Card these include:

  • Shipping Numbers – (eg SH0005) – these are a unique number assigned to each freight tracking entry
  • Consignment Name
    This is shown in Bold text at the top of the freight card. The content is determined by steps taken when adding a tracking number
  • Client’s Name – will display info related to the client company
  • Project Number – (eg P0001)will be visible if the freight has been allocated to a Project. Displays a summary of Project info.
  • Job Number – (eg J0001)will show if the shipment has been allocated to a Job. Displays individual Job specific info.

Consignment Info

Includes tracking info on the shipment

  • Con Note Number – the consignment note reference
  • Status – displayed with an icon and text reference
  • Timestamp – the date and time of the most recent status update
  • Courier – indicates how the shipment is being transported
  • Details – additional shipment info (only if manually tracking)
  • Delivered – the date the freight arrived at its location

If a consignment is being manually tracked – a tag will automatically be applied in the bottom right hand corner.
(subsequently, if no manual tag is applied, the consignment is set to Auto Track)

NB ~ Consignments initially setup as Auto track can be switched to Track manually at any stage. However, the reverse is not possible.

Notes

If notes have been added to the consignment – a sticky note will appear on the top right corner of the freight card (next to the Edit button). Clicking on this will display its contents.

Making changes

The hamburger icon opens a menu with additional functions

Edit Freight

Allows you to modify shipment details, including the consignment name, tags, notes, and more, or update tracking details for a manual consignment

Move Freight

If your shipment has not yet been associated with a project, you can assign it here

If it is already assigned, you can relocate the consignment to a different project, job, or timeline.

Change Status

Only available/active for manually tracked consignments. Launches a shortcut to the manual tracking module

Delete this Freight

Use this option to remove a consignment.
NB: This action cannot be undone.
