Blue Block Settings (Rules, Updates, Visibility)

Brandengine provides efficiency tools to streamline the production process.

These tools include setting rules for specific actions, updating statuses in bulk, and minimising the information displayed on-screen.

You can find these settings in the Blue Block on the Jobs screen.

Rules for this Job

Timeline Rules

How automated should the individual timeline progressions be?

These rules guide Brandengine (BE) on how to advance through timeline statuses and locations based on specific criteria.

…to Production

What elements should be considered for the status to be automatically set as in Production in each timeline?

… or would you rather control this manually?

…to Next Location

…and….

Locations represent the steps in the timeline required to complete the production of the contained items – (refer Edit Timeline)

Current Location steps also include Pre-Production and Delivered.

  • Automatically, based on dates…. – refers to the completion dates assigned to each step in the timeline. – (refer Edit Timeline)
  • Tracking data – uses entered shipping information and progresses when the shipment is “delivered”

This is where the Freight steps in the timeline actively assist with managing jobs.
    (see Add Tracking Number)

While the Job screen allows users to manage the above rules for individual jobs, the default settings can be configured by your admin.

These settings are located at:
MainMenu > Company-wideSettings > CompanySettings > DefaultSettings > Jobs

Timeline Tag Rules

Would you like BE to visually notify you if a timeline is or ?

These tags can be automatically applied to the timeline as required, making them visible in the Job Overview and easy to identify at a glance

By default, the Overdue tag rule is selected for all timelines

(NB: The tag colours can be customised in Admin. However, as these are system tags, their names cannot be changed.)

Bulk Update Items

This feature allows you to advance or revert all timeline and/or artwork statuses at once.

Select the desired option from the appropriate dropdown, and click the corresponding Update button on the right to apply the changes. (The button will turn solid blue when changes are ready to be applied.)

Visibility

Too much information on the Job screen?

To conserve screen real estate, you can deselect sections to hide them and create a more streamlined, focused view.
