Days Valid
PostedSeptember 12, 2024
UpdatedSeptember 12, 2024
To help safeguard your business against impending price rises (and exchange rate fluctuations) you are given the ability to change the validation days for your quote.
This tool is available at the top of the Quote edit window (beneath the Quote date),
![Brandengine-Quotes-Validity-Date](https://sp-ao.shortpixel.ai/client/to_webp,q_glossy,ret_img,w_736,h_290/https://www.brandengine.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/image-101.jpeg)
and also at the top of the Terms and Conditions block (bottom of the Quote edit window)
![Brandengine-Quotes-Validity-TC](https://sp-ao.shortpixel.ai/client/to_webp,q_glossy,ret_img,w_517,h_108/https://www.brandengine.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/image-102.jpeg)
The default number of “Quote days valid” is set by your admin/s.
Brandengine then calculates an expiry date based on the date of the quote.
Tip: Be sure to update your Quote date before sending the proposal to your client to ensure the validation info is current
Both the number of days and expiry date are then presented to your client at the bottom of the quote, just above your Terms and Conditions.
