Action-Notes

The Action panel sits on the right side of your screen and provides different functionality depending on the entity you’re viewing (e.g. Quotes, Purchase Orders, Companies, etc.).
Some entities may not display an Action panel if it isn’t relevant.

Action Notes are located in a dedicated tab within the Action panel. This is a flexible free-text field where you can record any information you consider important.

Any action-notes inserted into Enquiries or Projects will also visible system-wide in the Project Artifacts panel

To help draw your attention, a green counter will appear if there are any notes present. This number indicates the quantity of visible notes.

NB – Action-Notes are not deletable – they can be edited and hidden if required.

To create a new note – Click Add Note
– a new window will appear with basic text entry functionality.

Insert your note and save

The note is recorded with a timestamp and the authors name.

Pinning Important Action-Notes

Sometimes you don’t want important information getting lost in the list.

To keep key details visible, you can pin a note to the top of the notes panel by enabling “Pin message at top?”

Pinned action-notes will appear at the top of the list in blue.

You can pin multiple notes if needed.


If notes are added to the same activity by different users, all notes will be visible to all users.

Action-Notes can be edited by clicking the pencil icon beneath each note. Edits are timestamped and attributed by name. Only the timestamps of the last two edits are displayed.

To temporarily hide a note, click the eye icon beneath it.

Hidden notes are still referenced and can be viewed by clicking Show.

To permanently unhide a note, click the corresponding crossed-out eye icon.
