Add item to quote
To start generating a new quote for your client, go to, or create, the relevant “Enquiries” entity (MainMenu>Activity>Enquiries), scroll down to the Quotes block and click “+Add”
Tip: You can create multiple Quotes in the one Enquiry to help manage proposals for the same client activity or campaign
You will now be presented with an empty Quote ready to include products.
The default greeting for your user account will be loaded. You can edit this text as needed to provide extra info or relevance to the quote.
Adding Products
To start populating your quote with products, go to the top right of your screen, make sure you are on the Summary tab, and click +Add item to quote
Your catalogue will open for you to search.
This contains both Promodata products (added and managed by Suppliers) along with any products you and your team have added.
Tip: We suggest you spend some time becoming familiar with the tabs, filtering and search tools provided and this page as they will help speed up your product exploration
Clicking on a product block will open a Quicklook pop up containing a host of additional product info. This includes the Data source (API, CSV etc…) and “change” time stamps as easy reference to the data validity.
If switched on by API enabled suppliers, you can check product availability before quoting – simply go to the Stock tab in the pop up and click on Check Stock. Brandengine then conducts a live inventory request of the suppliers database to give you real time results.
Both Quicklook and Check Stock functionality are also available in the main quote window
To include a product in your quote, click the corresponding +Add button in the main catalogue window.
Your selected product information will then be added to the quote – awaiting you to interact with Costs, Margins and Appearance after you $ Add Pricing
At any stage, you can check the info on the quote by clicking “Review Info” at the top of screen. – To see the full quote layout – download the PDF in the Actions tab
You can add as many products as needed to provide a quote for your client that meets their brief.
