Job Details & Progress

The Job details block gives you a snapshot of core production info

At the top of screen you will find:

  • The Job number(eg J0059)
  • Project Artifacts (Entities & Emails) link 
read more >>>
  • Job Name – this is carried forward from the associated quote (eg My New Job)
  • Jump to” Shortcuts – quick navigation links to the various sections of the page

On the top right of the Job details block, you can:

Cancel Job

Will cancel the entire job – a reason for cancellation is required.

Complete Job – this will mark outstanding aspects in this job as complete.
(Bulk Complete)

NB – To Bulk Complete a Job, marking the timelines as complete is mandatory, whilst the additional bulk finalisation of artwork and POs is optional.

Edit basic info

  • Job specific Tags
  • The Job Name
  • Start Date
  • Due Date
  • Add Notes about the Job

Changes will be reflected as shown below.
In this example, the Name and Date have been updated, and a Job tag has been changed compared to the image at the beginning of this article.

Status Bar

The status bar at the top of the Job page gives you an overview of the entire Job.

  • New – The default state for all Jobs. No action has been taken yet in any Timeline.
  • Preparing – One or more production Timelines have a Preparing status
  • In ProductionAll Timelines have progressed to Production status or beyond
  • Delivered – Products from All Timelines have been marked as Delivered
  • Complete – Progression to this status will be based on your own company policies and procedures. (ie – Is a Job classified as Complete when all items are delivered, when invoiced, or when paid?)

For example, if a job contains multiple production timelines and one has progressed to Production while another is still in Preparing, the Overview status will display Preparing to highlight that further action is required.

Labels

  • Job Tags
    Assigned specifically to this Job. Can be altered by clicking Edit
  • Project tags
    Tags assigned to the main Project this Job is part of
  • Project name
    The name of the main Project – this is also a link that will provide more info in the a Quicklook panel

Job Progress Bar

A visual reference to;

  • The Job start date
    (ie – when the Quote was approved)
  • When the Job is due (Target date)
  • Days left until the target date
