Gone are the days of manually typing in customer and supplier locations for every single job. The Address Book is your central hub neatly organised and accessible from anywhere in Brandengine.
Your Central Command for Locations
Think of the Address Book as your digital rolodex, but smarter. You can effortlessly update company and vendor information on the fly. Need to add a new location for a client? No worries. Want to edit a supplier’s details? Easy as. Simply navigate to MainMenu > Database > Address Book to access all your records.
Streamline Your Project Deliveries
Here’s where the magic really happens. At any stage of your sales process, from enquiry to job, you can assign delivery addresses. Just click the truck icon at the top of the screen, and you’ll be able to:
- Use an existing address: Select a location you’ve already saved for the company.
- Add a new address: If your client has a new office, you can add it to their record.
- Send to a different company or vendor: Choose a location from another business in your address book.
- One-time address: For those one-off deliveries, you can enter an address that won’t be saved for use in other projects.
Once assigned, these addresses are visible throughout the project, keeping everyone in the loop.
Purchase Orders and Delivery Labels Sorted
The Address Book seamlessly integrates with your purchase orders (POs) and delivery labels.
When creating a PO, the “Vendor” and “Ship to” fields link directly to your Address Book. You can select an existing address, add a new one, or even set a default PO address for a vendor. And if you need to, you can always manually edit the address fields.
Generating delivery labels is just as simple. The Project Delivery Address book lets you select an existing address or create a one-time location for the label. Brandengine then populates the label template with the correct details, ready for you to add any extra information and generate the label.
So there you have it. The Brandengine Address Book is a powerful tool designed to save you time, reduce errors, and keep your projects running smoothly.
